【摘要】:Thistestmethodcoversthemeasurementoftherelativeworkrequiredtomovethecarpetcleaningmechanismofanupright,canister,stick,orcombinationvacuumcleanerinastraightlinewithforwardandbackwardstrokingonaselectionoftypicalcarpetedsurfaces.Thistestmethodcanbeusedinthetestingofhouseholdandcommercialvacuumcleaners.Thistestmethodmeasurestherelativeworkneededtomovethevacuumcleanerwithitsmotorormotorsinoperation.Thistestmethodappliestothevacuumcleaningofcarpetsonly.Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
