【摘要】:1ThisInternationalStandardspecifiestheprocedurestobefollowedforpreparing,maintaining,andpublishingaregisterofescapesequencesandofthecodedcharactersetstheyidentify.2TheregistrationprocessspecifiedinISO/IEC2375isnotaprocedureforstandardizationofcharactersorcodedcharactersets.OrganizationsthatwishISOand/orIECtocreateaninternationalstandardforacodedcharactersetorthatwishISOand/orIECtocodeadditionalcharactersintoISO/IEC10646needtofollowtheISO/IECproceduresfordoingso.Inparticular,-RegistrationofacodedcharactersetaccordingtotheproceduresspecifiedbythisstandardimpliesnocommitmentbyISOand/orIECtoadoptthecodedcharactersetasanISO/IECstandard.-TheexistenceofacharacterinanapprovedregistrationdoesnotimplyacommitmentbyISOand/orIECtoencodethatcharacterintoISO/IEC10646.3ISO/IEC2022describestheescapesequencesreferencedinthisInternationalStandard,exceptforescapesequencesreservedinISO/IEC2022forprivateuse.4Theuseoftheseescapesequencesincludescodeextension,thatis,theprovisionofadditionalsetsofcharacters,orofadditionalcontrolfunctions,inaccordancewithISO/IEC2022.5AnescapesequenceregisteredinaccordancewiththisInternationalStandardservesasanidentificationofthecharacter,thesetofcharacters,orthecontrolfunctionassociatedwithitintheregister.6Theregistrationitselfdoesnotspecifytherulesinaccordancewithwhichacharacterorcharactersetidentifiedbyanescapesequenceistobeused.Rather,theregistrationidentifiesthedocuments(forexample,standards)whichspecifysuchrules.
