【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardisapplicabletofixedgasdetectionsystemsforthedetectionandmeasurementofflammableortoxic1)gasesorvapoursoroxygen.ThisEuropeanStandardsupplementstherequirementsoftheEuropeanStandardsforelectricalapparatusforthedetectionandmeasurementofflammablegases,vapours(e.g.EN61779orEN50241),toxicgases(e.g.EN45544)oroxygen(e.g.EN50104).Applyingtheabovementionedmetrologicalstandardswillensurethemeasuringperformanceisadequateinnormaloperationofagasdetectionsystem.AdditionallytherequirementsofthisEuropeanStandardaddressthefunctionalsafetyofgasdetectionsystemsandencompasscriteriaforreliability,faulttoleranceandavoidanceofsystematicfaults.ThisEuropeanStandardwillleadtothecharacterisationofthegasdetectionsystembyaSIL-capabilityandrelatedhardwarefailureraterepresentingahierarchicalorderofsafetylevels.ThiswillallowtheusertoincorporatethegasdetectionsystemintoanoverallsafetysystemaccordingtothesafetyintegritylevelsofEN61508orthecategoriesofENISO13849-1(seeAnnexB).ThisEuropeanStandardisaproductstandardwhichisbasedonEN61508andincludesadditionalrequirementsofENISO13849-1.Itcoverspartofthephase9"realisation"oftheoverallsafetylifecycledefinedinEN61508-1.ThisEuropeanStandardisapplicableforgasdetectionsystems,whichmayconsistofthefollowingfunctionalunits:?gas-sampling;?sensor;?signaltransmission;?inputtocontrolunit;?signalprocessingincontrolunit;?outputfromcontrolunit.ThisEuropeanStandarddoesnotspecifyrequirementsfortheinstallationandmaintenanceofgasdetectionsystems.Italsodoesnotspecifythephysicalpositioningofsensors..ThisEuropeanStandarddoesnotspecifywhichSIL-capabilityissufficientforwhichapplication.
