【摘要】:ThispartofIEC60079containsthespecificrequirementsforthedesign,selectionanderectionofelectricalinstallationsinhazardousareasassociatedwithexplosiveatmospheres.Wheretheequipmentisrequiredtomeetotherenvironmentalconditions,forexample,protectionagainstingressofwaterandresistancetocorrosion,additionalmethodsofprotectionmaybenecessary.Themethodusedshouldnotadverselyaffecttheintegrityoftheenclosure.Therequirementsofthisstandardapplyonlytotheuseofequipmentundernormalornearnormalatmosphericconditions.Forotherconditions,additionalprecautionsmaybenecessary.Forexample,mostflammablematerialsandmanymaterialswhicharenormallyregardedasnon-flammablemightburnvigorouslyunderconditionsofoxygenenrichment.Otherprecautionsmightalsobenecessaryintheuseofequipmentunderconditionsofextremetemperatureandpressure.Suchprecautionsarebeyondthescopeofthisstandard.Theserequirementsareinadditiontotherequirementsforinstallationsinnon-hazardousareas.Thisstandardappliestoallelectricalequipmentincludingfixed,portable,transportableandpersonal,andinstallations,permanentortemporary.Itappliestoinstallationsatallvoltages.Thisstandarddoesnotapplyto–electricalinstallationsinminessusceptibletofiredamp;NOTEThisstandardmayapplytoelectricalinstallationsinmineswhereexplosivegasatmospheresotherthanfiredampmaybeformedandtoelectricalinstallationsinthesurfaceinstallationofmines.–inherentlyexplosivesituationsanddustfromexplosivesorpyrophoricsubstances(forexampleexplosivesmanufacturingandprocessing);–roomsusedformedicalpurposes;–electricalinstallationsinareaswherethehazardisduetohybridmixturesofcombustibledustandexplosivegas,vapourormist.Thisstandarddoesnottakeintoaccountofanyriskduetoanemissionofflammableortoxicgasfromthedust.
